Know your band
Every 416 wristband is one size and built to stretch. Here is how big it is, why we make it the way we do and how to keep it in shape.
Same for every design
The specs
- FitStretches over your hand, sits back on your wrist
- Made ofA premium blend of rubber and polyester
- CareWashable. Dry it in its round shape
Check your fit
Measure your wrist, then slide to your number and see how the band will sit. All you need is a soft tape measure or a strip of paper.
-
01/03
Wrap your wrist
Go around the spot where you would wear the band, snug but not tight.
-
02/03
Read the number
Note where the tape meets. With paper, mark the overlap and measure it flat against a ruler.
-

Set the slider to your measurement to see how much the band stretches.
Picked on
purpose.
We chose a rubber and polyester blend on purpose. It is the material that lets us print our original designs onto the band, and those designs are the reason 416 exists.
That choice comes with a trade-off. This blend gives with wear, so over time your band can loosen and lose some of its original shape. That is how the material behaves and it is not a defect.
How you dry it makes the biggest difference. A band left to dry bent or stretched will set that way, so follow the washing steps below.
What you get
Original printed designs, a stretch fit that goes over your hand and a band you can wash.
What to expect
Some loosening and change of shape as you wear it.
What helps
Drying it flat in its round shape every time.
Wash it.
Dry it round.
Washing is easy. Drying is the step that decides whether the band keeps its shape.
-
01/04
Wash by hand
Use cool water and a little mild soap. Rub gently over the print.
-
02/04
Press the water out
Rinse, then squeeze it inside a towel. Do not wring or twist it.
-
03/04
Put it back in shape
Open it into an even circle, the way it looked when it arrived.
-
04/04
Dry it flat
Lay it flat on its edge in that circle and leave it until fully dry.
- Do not hang it from a hook or a peg. The weight pulls it into an oval.
- Do not dry it folded, pinched or stretched over something.
- Do not use a dryer, a heater or an iron.
- Do not leave it wet and crumpled in a bag or pocket.
Quick answers
Is there more than one size?
No. Every band is 6.4 inches around and 0.79 inches tall, and it stretches to fit.
Will my band change shape?
With wear, yes, a little. The rubber and polyester blend loosens over time. Drying it in its round shape after each wash keeps it from setting in the wrong shape.
Why not use a stiffer material?
Because this blend is what lets us print our original designs on the band. We chose the designs over a material that never moves.
Can I wash it?
Yes. Wash it by hand, reshape it into a circle and dry it flat.
